The BX30 subwoofer was specifically designed to complement the active BM 6A and BM 15A monitors in both stereo and 5.1 setups. But because they are so versatile, several BX30s can complement larger 5.1 setups (e.g. with 5 x Dynaudio M3A and 4 x BX30) and offer a very powerful system for your 5.1 studio. Of course, the BX30 can also be used in conjunction with other brands. Simply anywhere where a subwoofer is needed.
The BX30 is equipped with a 305 mm woofer in a ported enclosure. Dynaudio’s cutting-edge technology allows the bass driver and cabinet to be tuned to give you an incredible boost in energy in the lowest frequency range.
The motor of the driver is a huge 102 mm coil in combination with an extended magnet system.
The amplifier design was specially developed to get maximum energy from the woofer. The BX30 has electronically symmetrical stereo inputs and outputs on 3-pole XLR connectors. The internal filtering of the BX30 is selectable by the user. To optimize the bass performance in combination with the main speakers, the phase can be continuously adjusted from 0º to 360º. With the special In/Output utility, multiple subs can be
be connected in parallel.
