Fitting in one rack space, the unit gives you a de-esser, a compressor, an expander, and a three-band parametric equalizer. Operation is simple and the output supplies the user with more than ample processing of the voice, whether you're looking for a highly processed sound for a special effect, or just simple gain control and/or EQ.

Symetrix 528 is a complete, self-contained voice processor, that performs six separate functions. In addition to a microphone preamp (with 48V phantom power), the unit performs de-essing, compression/limiting (with sidechain input), downward expansion, voice symmetry alignment and the signal can be sculpted with parametric EQ (notch filter may be individually bypassed with front panel switches). All six processors may be used simultaneously, and although the unit is referred to as a "voice processor" it is perfectly suitable for any signal.
