Onkyo UP-DT1 DAB Radio Tuner For Onkyo AV Receivers

With its 40 station presets, the UP-DT1 gives you access to an exciting array of DAB and DAB+ digital radio channels. Thanks to the superior efficiency of digital radio— DAB+ signals are encoded in the high-compression MPEG-4 audio codec— it’s possible to fit many more channels onto a given bandwidth than with traditional analog radio. More channels means more entertainment. While the UP-DT1 is delivering a robust digital audio signal to the Universal Port on your compatible Onkyo receiver*, the receiver in turn powers the tuner through the same convenient cable. What’s more, you can use the receiver’s remote controller to adjust settings on the tuner. Lastly, a rear-side Universal Port input on the UP-DT1 gives you the option of “ daisy chaining” a second compatible device, such as the new UP-A1 Onkyo Dock for the iPod.
