Santos series guitars combine nylon strings with the advantages of a steel string guitar. The body shape is that of an auditorium guitar, with a spruce top and mahogany sides and back. With a neck width between standard classical and western guitar styles, the strings aren’t spaced as far apart as a normal nylon string guitar, but not as close together as you’d expect on a steel-string. It’s designed for ambitious beginners looking for a rich sound and easy playability. The C-40S BK comes in a black finish.
