Fender's American Vintage '59 Stratocaster in sherwood green metallic offers a faithful reproduction of a Fender Stratocaster form late 1959, featuring a rosewood fingerboard, multi-ply laminated pickguard, and vintage pickups designed to reproduce the classic Fender sound. The guitars alder body delivers strong, full bodied tones, while the maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provide bright, warm characteristics. The Strat features the classic slim "D" neck profile of that year, along with a vintage three-ply mint green pickguard with 10 holes and a vintage style edge bevel. The pickups used are made to be vintage accurate, designed with original-era cloth wiring and wound to precise specs to produce an authentic, traditional fender tone and performance. Also featuring aged plastic control knobs, vintage style tremolo bridge, and vintage tuners, the American Vintage '59 Stratocaster is a blast from the past, offering the classic design and feel of 1959 Fender with modern craftsmanship and components.
